half-a-mile wide at its widest, with 2,500 acres of protected cliffs
overlooking the Hudson River and New York City. Shared
by New Jersey and New York, the land in the NJ Section was the first
that the Commission acquired after its creation in 1900 by the states of
New York and New Jersey. There are 30 miles of hiking trails to make
your feet hurt.
