The Manasquan Reservoir has a 4 billion gallon capacity and a maximum depth of 40 feet. The Visitor Center has boat rentals, a fireplace and an observation deck for nice views. Fishing opportunities include largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, hybrid striped bass, tiger muskellunge and catfish. The Environmental Center is a little museum that has interactive exhibits and wildlife observation areas. Boat tours also originate from the Center. Besides the perimeter trail, you can take the 1.1 mile Cove Trail, 0.5 mile Bear Swamp Connector or the 0.2 Wetland Spur.
